Get a Sneak Peek at the Facilities
Saratoga Springs is nestled between New York's capital region and the beautiful Adirondack mountains. It's easily accessible: just a 4 hour drive from Boston, NYC, Princeton, and a host of other top rowing destinations.
In Saratoga, you'll find the perfect mix of culture and activity with nature and tranquility. Saratoga Lake has a long history of rowing and is host to several of the country's largest regattas.
For visitors: our athlete house is a 6 minute walk across the bridge from the Boathouse.
Experience Expert Training
ARION is a program built around small boat skills. Significant emphasis is placed on teaching boat moving skills. For training, athletes use personal and club boats, C2 ergs, bike ergs, and road bikes.
Athletes are also encouraged to participate in cross-training outdoors when the weather permits. Hiking, biking, swimming, and running are excellent local options. For weight training, athletes can lift at a new designed gym on our premises.

Top-Tier Goals & Successes
ARION athletes pursue both short-term and long-term goals, with the ultimate goal of achieving a medal at the Olympics.
Along the way, successes are celebrated in personal bests, speed orders, national regattas, and World Championships. ARION also counts as success the growth of athletes as teammates, members of the community, and humans.
Expectations Delivering Results
The ARION program works in symbiosis with the Saratoga Rowing Association (SRA). SRA provides the support, facilities, and coaching for the ARION program in exchange for athlete work hours supporting SRA.
These work hours are paid and are offered as work in conjunction with the thorough ARION training program.
